Pastor Shaun L. Moton is a native of Texas. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas he was reared in the fear and admonition of the Lord under the godly influence of a loving mother. Here, he would be providentially planted by God to be inspired under the anointed preaching of the late Dr. Onnie Isaac Kirk Sr. at the Unity Missionary Baptist Church. At the tender age of five he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. At the age of 17, he surrendered to the Call of God upon his life to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was licensed to preach on August 2, 1982 and ordained to the work of the ministry on December 31, 1986.
     

      Blessed to travel nationally and internationally, he has served the Body of Christ in ministry for over 30 years. With a progressive passion to equip and edify the Body of Christ beyond the four walls of the local church, he established “Making Disciples Ministries, Inc.” This is a ministry that seeks to further equip pastors, ministers and churches to fulfill the mandate entrusted and expected of every believer in the Body of Christ beyond the realm of the local church.       In June of 1994, Shaun L. Moton embraced the call of God to serve as Pastor / Teacher of the Marlboro Heights Missionary Baptist Church of Killeen, Texas. His God given vision for the Lord’s Church upon his arrival as pastor was then, as it remains now to “Making Disciples to Evangelize the World.”

 

      Pastor Moton is a servant minded man given to a servant minded people. He lives to be a friend to others and loves to share the goodness of the Lord in his life with others in the conscious and confident hope of making a redemptive difference in the lives of everyone he is blessed to encounter.
